The Baba who thought he could cure it all...

If only someone could cure him too...

The following cartoon appears best when sung to the tune of 'Ba Ba Black Sheep'...

      Bitter about twitter

Inspired by the cattle-class tweet controversy and the 'warning' that followed it...

      Herd mentality

Cartoons inspired by the unnecessary uproar over @shashitharoor's tweet..

I Really like Shashi Tharoor and his way of connecting with the public through twitter. His tweets do say a lot about him as a person and a professional politician. He tweeted to appreciate my cartoon once and I thought it was courageous and kind of him to comment on a political cartoon, rather than diplomatically ignore it!

Hope this silly controversy is dissolved soon and that he continues to tweet, away from the herd.

      Parliament ka Saamna

The new reality show 'Sach ka Saamna' (face the truth) had to face some objections from Members of Parliament.

I mentioned this news and a relevant cartoon in a recent post about Parliament walkouts.

However, I think that one cartoon doesn't do justice to an issue as important as this.

After all, if it was important enough to be discussed in the Parliament, its important enough to inspire some more cartoons...

      Post-Election toons

These cartoons weren't created with the 'post-elections' phase in mind (more of that coming soon, though!)

They're just older cartoons I dug up because they seem relevant to the post-elections phase....

This last one wasn't created with the Congress Party in mind either...

And I really hope that it doesn't come true.

      Amen!

      Vote Nobody!

Here is one voting option which I didn't mention in my previous cartoon about Indian elections...

Many people may not agree with this as they feel that votes are precious and must not be wasted. However, if you can't decide on the lesser evil from amongst all the candidates (It all boils down to that doesn't it?) just take the easy way out and vote for nobody!

As per Rule 49-O of the Conduct of Elections Rules of India, voters are actually entitled to avail this option!

      De-voted to politics!

As the Indian elections begins, I've been thinking of who to give my 'precious' vote to. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to come to any conclusions because...

As shoe throwing becomes more popular...

Shoe throwing seems to become more popular by the day. Another shoe was thrown today, this time at Congress MP Naveen Jindal.

Wonder what the shoes feel about being
      indiscriminately hurled like this?

And then there is the aspect about the shoe-throwers being rewarded...

Looks like a new form of protest has emerged, one that cannot easily be shoe-d away!
