Many people may not agree with this as they feel that votes are precious and must not be wasted. However, if you can't decide on the lesser evil from amongst all the candidates (It all boils down to that doesn't it?) just take the easy way out and vote for nobody!
As per Rule 49-O of the Conduct of Elections Rules of India, voters are actually entitled to avail this option!

ReplyDeleteHowever, when everybody votes for nobody, nobody is going to win, and since nobody can't form a government, everybody else is going to cobble together a government anyway, so why not vote for everybody else?

Not everybody is going to vote for nobody.
Somebody is going to vote for anybody and that is just how 'anybody' can form the government in India.
