When Parliamentarians get suspended

Inspired by the unruly behavior of our Parliamentarians and more specifically the suspension of 7 members of Rajya Sabha yesterday for the same reasons.

The first Toon posted here is almost identical to an earlier Toon by me, but I couldn't resist doing either of these...

Parliament ka Saamna

The new reality show 'Sach ka Saamna' (face the truth) had to face some objections from Members of Parliament.

I mentioned this news and a relevant cartoon in a recent post about Parliament walkouts.

However, I think that one cartoon doesn't do justice to an issue as important as this.

After all, if it was important enough to be discussed in the Parliament, its important enough to inspire some more cartoons...

Speaking of Speakers

Last week, the Indian Parliament elected its first woman speaker.

Some people noticed and tweeted about the fact that I have the same name as her (spelt differently though!)

And so, I re-posted this older cartoon about Parliamentary Speakers...
